Mark Allen Odom, born December 13, 1968, in Dallas, Texas to Burl Spicer Sr and Betty Sitton, was called home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2024, at the age of 55.
Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.
Committal: 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Concord Cemetery, Omaha, Texas
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. Friday, prior to the Service.
Mark spent the last 16 years battling cancer, but he never let that slow him down. He had a great love for many things including fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. His greatest passion was his love for cooking. Mark was a devoted husband, loving father, faithful brother, cherished uncle and loyal friend to many.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sitton; father, Burl Spicer Sr; and brothers, Billy Odom and Jim Spicer.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Odom; children, Mark Shaffer Jr, Jarrod Odom, Austin Wylie Beggs, Makenzi and Matt Rogan, Emily and Timothy Offutt, Natalie Odom, and Jessica Odom; stepchildren, Cody Frost, Trevor Gilcrease and Christina Erwin; grandchildren, Raelyn, Shawn Kelly, Libby, Elizah, Courtnee, Abram, Adalyn, Baby Camden, Hunter and Jameson; siblings, Teresa Northcut, Nina Waid, Tony Odom, Ramona Spicer, Burl Spicer Jr, and Curtis Spicer; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
