Martha Brooks, 71, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, on Monday, June 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the Celebration of Life.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at First Baptist Church of White Settlement, Texas, located at 7801 White Settlement Rd.

Martha was born in McKinney, Texas, on May 1, 1953, to Ralph and Margaret Worley. She grew up in Lake Worth, Texas, where she graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1971. Following her passion, Martha attended beauty school on a scholarship and became a talented hairdresser, eventually owning and operating her own successful business, "Hairworks," for over 50 years.

Martha was a devoted wife to Eugene for more than 46 years, a loving mother, cherished YaYa to her grandchildren, and a dear friend to so many. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.

In her leisure time, Martha found joy in quilting and sewing, hobbies that showcased her creativity and meticulous attention to detail. She also shared a deep love of travel with Eugene, especially treasuring their trips to Paris, France, which held a special place in her heart.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Margaret Worley.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Eugene Brooks; daughter, Crystal Aponte, and son-in-law, Michael; son, Chase Brooks, and daughter-in-law, Rayan; brother, Harold Worley, and his wife, Marsha; grandchildren, Logan, Dade, Khloe, Ellie, Addison, Kinslee, Ace, and Avenlee; nephews, Todd and Toby and niece, Buffie.

Martha's kind spirit, faith in the Lord, creativity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
