Mary Garcia Alonso, age 76, passed away on March 23, 2021. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Biggers Funeral Home Chapel Service: 11:00 am, Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Biggers Funeral Home Chapel Mary was born on November 26, 1945 in Lamesa, Texas to Ysidro Herra Garcia and Guadalupe Rodriquez Garcia. She was a retired LVN nurse, monitoring her patient's vital signs and kept their charts up to date. She was truly an amazing nurse, kind and compassionate with everyone she was around, which is hard to find and impossible to forget. She was the one to look for when there was an emergency. Mary was definitely a people person, very outgoing and enjoyed being around people. She also had excellent communication skills. It did not matter what side of the world you were from, in her eyes, you were a friend. Mary was a great cook, enjoyed cooking and was always willing to cook for everyone. Mary was preceded in death by: her parents, Ysidro Herra Garcia and Guadalupe Rodiquez Garcia; her brothers, Lupito Garcia, Albert Garcia and Johnny Garcia; her sisters, Lilly Garcia and Tana Garcia. She is survived by: her husband, Santos Alonso; her daughter, Laura Randolph; her son, Ivan Alonso and wife, Zulma; granddaughters, Cynthia Randolph and Faith Alonso; grandsons, Nickolas Alonso, Roen Alonso and Kade Alonso; her great granddaughter, Gabriella Silva; her sisters, Angie Velasquez, Lupe Ocon and Linda Garcia; her brothers, Martin Garcia and Jessie Garcia.
