Mary Nancy Bell Smith was born on July 10,1939 in Caraway, Arkansas. to Minnie Isabell Smith and Roy Smith.

Visitation:  5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Biggers Funeral Home, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Mary grew up in a Baptist family and practiced the faith. She went to school in Caraway, Arkansas and at an early age (as many did at the time) went to work to help support the family. As Mary got older, she met Tony and they were married in 1956. They soon had a son, Johnny, sadly he passed away a short year later. The following year she had Ricky, then Diana, then Teresa. Mary was always a caregiver, putting others above herself. A great example was, she took care of her mother and brother until they both went to be with the maker in California.

Mary then moved back to Newark, Texas where she lived out her life with Tony leaving a legacy of seven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; 11 brothers, 1 sister and a son.
