Mary Nell Crain, 87 of Weatherford, passed away and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Visitation: 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Biggers Funeral Home, 6100 Azle Ave. Fort Worth, Texas. Service: 1:00 PM Monday, July 29, 2019 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church, Reno, Texas. Graveside service: 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 30, 2019, A.L. Stephens Cemetery, Clayton, Oklahoma. Mary Nell was born December 8, 1931 in Zafra, Oklahoma to Edgar Ellis James and Nellie Perkins James. She married Donald Crain who preceded her in death. She received her Associates Degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College. She assisted and comforted a great many people as she worked in healthcare for many years. Mary Nell liked to read and was a fantastic cook. For many years she was a professional cake decorator in Shawnee and Clayton, OK. She also loved to sew and garden. She took care of her cat Molly and she loved and cherished her family. She was a Christian and a faithful member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Mary Nell was proud of her Choctaw heritage. Mary was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, known affectionately to her family as Nanny. Mary Nell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Neil Crain, and brother Ellis James. Survivors: She is survived by her children: Rickey Dale Crain and wife Kimberly Ann, Randy Lee Crain and wife Christi Ann, and Gayla Sue Dixon and husband Rodney Keyth. Her Grandchildren: Joshua Dixon, Samantha Crain, Brandon and Charis Dixon, Lindy Crain, Rickey Crain, and Mikala and Robby Tabuchi. Her Great Grandchildren: Paisyn Crain and Emma Dixon. Her brother and sister: Charlie and Gloria James, and Juanita Lewark.
