Obituary

Mary Jacqueline "Jackie" McBride left the cares of this world to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Memorial Service: 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Redeemer Christian Fellowship Church, 3000 Franklin Avenue, Midland, Texas 79701.
Jackie was born February 24, 1928 to the late Luther Bland Foster and Lorna Tallman Foster in Shelbyville, Illinois. She graduated at Shelbyville High School in 1946 and attended a Christian College in Columbia, Missouri.
On May 13, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, John P. McBride, Jr. and they celebrated 64 years together.
Most important in her life was her Lord Jesus, her family, and friends. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Jackie loved to read, enjoyed painting and her four trips to Israel.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lorna Foster; husband, John P. McBride, Jr.; sons, Patrick McBride and Terry J. McBride.
She is survived by her children, Michael McBride, Christine Coston, Sherri Hart, Julie Bollinger and husband, Donnie; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
