Mary Lou Sampley - February 05, 1931- December 17, 2023

Mary was born in Ohio but lived most of her life here in the Azle area. She

worked as a young woman at Weatherford steel until she retired, then went to

Homa, Louisiana for work. She soon came back to Lakeside and worked at the

Lake Worth, Walmart until she retired from there after 17 years.

Mary and Clyde Sampley married in February of 1949. She was a devoted

wife and mother. They had two children, Max and James, who both went to

school and graduated from Azle ISD.

Mary was a devoted Christian and knew Jesus as her Savior. She was a

loving, caring and warm person with the personality that drew people to her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings and both of

her sons.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family including, Sandra

Sampley, Neil Sampley, wife Jimmie, Eric Sampley and Great-Grandchildren.
