Mary Ann (Gideon) Sonnamaker, 89, left this earthly home July 5, 2023 to be with her Lord and previously departed loved ones. Mary had a servant's heart that will never be forgotten. Her legacy and mac-n-cheese recipe will forever live on.

Graveside Service: 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville TX.

Mary was born February 17, 1934 in Muleshoe Texas. She married the love of her life, Eugene William Sonnamaker on January 29, 1950. They moved their family to Freer, TX in pursuit of a better life and as their family grew they moved to Fort Worth and bought a home in 1962. She was an amazing woman who was loved and adored by her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene William Sonnamaker; three beloved children; son, Jerry Sonnamaker and daughters, Patricia and Jeanene Sonnamaker; parents, Berry Brady Gideon and Eula May Davis Gideon; sisters Alvoy Richardson, Peggy McCormick, Alma Turner, and Nora Lyon; Brothers, Thomas Gideon, and John Gideon.

She is survived and her memory will be cherished by son, Michael Eugene Sonnamaker and wife, Tyrena; six grandchildren, Joshua Sonnamaker, Jennifer Sonnamaker, Jacqueline Sonnamaker Impson; Lloyd Sonnamaker, Terran Jean Renkenberger and Aaron Sonnamaker; and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carl Gideon and Lora Woolard; numerous nieces and nephews.
