Mary Souvannavong, 71, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Cremation will follow service. Mary was born March 15, 1941, in Laos and has been an area resident since 1981. A woman of grace and dignity with a sharing, caring heart, Mary was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and wife, who cherished her family deeply. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Bounky Souvannavong; children, Kongsavanh Phanid, Sarah Hummer, Chanhsamone Souvannavong, Khonesavanh Souvannavong, Phanhpasong Souvannavong, and Valerie Nuth; sister, Thongla Sisouphan; nine grandchildren.
