Melba Joyce Buckelew Hughes, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at the age of 78. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Melba was born in Paris, Texas, and lived most of her life in Fort Worth. She was a hairdresser by trade, but gardening was her true passion. God gifted Melba with bringing beauty to everything she touched, from her home, to her garden, to her work. She was a bright light to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Hughes.
