On Tuesday November 14, 2023, Melinda Fielden Moore (Mom) loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, went to be with our lord and savior at the age of 72, Our sweet mom was born on October 2, 1951 in Crane, Texas to Dick and Doris Fielden.

She received her Master's in Education at New Mexico State University. Mom moved on to teach Elementary and Middle school children, where her passion for educating students poured from her. Even after retiring, her love for teaching never wavered. On August 2, 1972 our parents, Jack and Melinda Valliant were married.

They were blessed with two children - daughter Meghann and son Jackson. Mom was known for her loving heart, infectious laugh, and compassionate spirit.

She loved telling stories about her childhood, adventures, her children, and grandchildren. Mom's love for her family was paramount and she was the most selfless person, who gave all she had to those she loved. Mom is preceded in death by her father Dick (PawPaw), Mother Doris (Monie) and her brother Rick.

Mom is survived by her children Meghann (Ken), Jackson (Amanda), and three beautiful granddaughters Ava, Presley, and Lennox, brother Marc (Kerrie), and multiple nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, Melinda's love for animals, especially dogs, donations can be made out in her name to any animal shelter.
