Melvena E. Shaffer went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 25, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, at The Freedom Center in Lake Worth. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Fred; and their four children. She also leaves a legacy of love as witnessed by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandbaby.
