Mildred J. Parsons, 87, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 14, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at the funeral home. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Parsons; a daughter, Linda Parsons; a grandson, Shane Parsons; her parents, Jim and Jewell Rattan; brothers, Harold and Royce Rattan; and a sister, Guanna Porter. She is survived by her children, Robert E. Parsons and Cheryl L. Parsons; brother, David Rattan; sisters, Martha Stewart and Alta Ferguson; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchild, Shayna Parsons.
