Misty Leigh "Gardner" Purner was a bold, beautiful and tenacious woman who fiercely loved her family and the Lord. A beacon of love, Misty passed away December 18, 2023, surrounded by her cherished family, dear friends, and the comfort of the Lord. Born on February 26, 1971, Misty illuminated the lives of many with her profound kindness and unyielding spirit.
Professionally admired and respected, Misty's true measure of success lay not in accolades but, in her unshakable faith in Jesus Christ. Throughout her valiant battle with cancer, her certainty in the Lord remained steadfast, an unwavering source of strength that inspired all who knew her. She believed that her professional accomplishments paled in comparison to the steadfastness of her faith, which she generously shared with wisdom and grace.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James "Jim" Purner, whose unwavering devotion was a testament to the enduring bond they shared; daughter, Sophia Grace Purner; her twin brother, John P. Gardner his wife, Annie and their children, Reili, Greyson, and Joey, stand as living testaments to Misty's legacy of love and family.
