Monika Tomanek, 54, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at Eagle Mountain International Church, 14355 Morris Dido Road, Newark, Texas 76071. Officiating: Dr. Chris Wilder and Pastor Ray Andrews. Monika was born August 10, 1960 in Hradec Kralove, Czechoslovakia to Libor and Dana Pospisil. After her university education she was selected to complete her music education by attending the Conservatory in Prague. Her professional career included working for the International Czech Radio Prague Choir. Her greatest attribute was that she loved the Lord. On March 1, 2002, Monika and Robert Tomanek married in Prague, Czech Republic. Monika bravely left her family and friends to join her husband in the United States. Their faith and love brought them through lifes challenges.
