Nancy Smith, 48, received her wings Friday, September 27, 2013, and now is in heaven with other angels. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Bethesda Community Church. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Nancy was born June 21, 1965, in Lake Worth to Richard and Ellie Gallivan. She was a very independent single mother and was a classroom teacher at Gililland Elementary School in the Saginaw ISD. She is survived by her fiance, Brian Carlson of Azle; children, Jimmy A. Rankin III of Denton and Joshua C. Smith and Shayla M. Smith, both of Azle; parents, Richard and Ellie Gallivan of Azle; grandmother, Mary Jane Wedington of Gonzales; and sisters, Cathy Gallivan and Cindy Gallivan, both of Azle.
