Nelda
Huff
Oct 2, 1946 — Feb 8, 2026
Nelda Huff, lovingly known as "Grammer," was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and wife who passed away peacefully Sunday, February 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Graveside: 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2026 Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026, Biggers Funeral Home.
Grammer was a truly kind and loving soul whose greatest joy in life was caring for others. She had a special way of making everyone feel loved, supported, and encouraged. No matter what her family was pursuing, she was always their biggest cheerleader—proudly celebrating every milestone, big or small.
She was known as the best cook and baker, and her food brought people together in a way only she could. Her famous Neiman Marcus cake, Rice Krispies treats, and potato salad were family favorites and staples at gatherings—recipes made with love that created lifelong memories. The comfort of her kitchen and the warmth of her cooking will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, soulmate, and love of her life, Robert Huff, lovingly known as "Grandy"; her father, James Cecil McBryde; and brother, Cecil Dewayne McBryde. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with Grandy—the love of her life—once again together after so many years apart.
Nelda is survived by her mother, Ivanell McBryde; her sons, Bryan Huff and wife, Kristal, and Craig Huff and wife, Lori; and her cherished granddaughters, Kelsey Huff and Emily Huff, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Grammer's life was defined by selflessness, creativity, and unwavering love. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her open heart, and the countless ways she showed love through her words, her actions, and her hands. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured.
