Olivia Bodiford Thompson, a longtime resident of Azle, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at a community hospice. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Castle Hills. Interment will be in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Olivia was born May 21, 1940, in Fort Worth. She worked for Kaiser Permanente for 14 years before enjoying her retirement. She loved traveling, shopping, and socializing with her friends. Olivia loved spending time with her family and considered her daughter, Kim, her best friend. Olivia loved our Lord and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Castle Hills in Azle. She is survived by her husband, Joe Thompson; daughters, Kim Sullivan and husband, Ricky, Joni Latham and husband, Steve, and Patty Thompson; grandsons, Shawn Jackson and wife, Shawna, and Justin Thompson and wife, Dorothea; great-grandson, Gavin Jackson; sister, Beverly Pollard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
