Patricia Christine Poindexter Edwards, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Pat Edwards was a happy, fun-loving woman who wore many hats during her lifetime. Pat was married to T.F. Edwards, her husband of 50-plus years and together they raised one beautiful family. Pat was the kind of mother and grandmother who was very involved and supportive in the lives of her family. She was always eager to help out with any activity at church or school and always willing to lend a helping hand to family or friends. She stayed active and worked 20 years for a publishing company in Fort Worth until she was 77 years old. Everyone who knew her recognized her zest for life and many have special memories of her. Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.F. Edwards; her parents; and four siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Lance, Lianne Daniels and husband, Gerald, and Delia Rawlings; grandchildren, Tiffany Keene and husband, Mark, Cindy Skipper and husband, Josh, Dustin Rawlings and fiancee, Amber, Amber Rawlings and Carter Rogers; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Gwendolyn Kilgore, and Brenda Scoggins and husband, Harley.
