Peggy Lou (Davis) Lile, age 90, passed away December 16, 2021. Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Ash Creek Baptist Church, Azle, TX Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery following service Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 27, 2021, at Biggers Funeral Home Peggy Lou Lile was born July 9, 1931, in Atlanta, Georgia, to John B. and Florence Davis. She served in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, Virginia, where she met her husband, Lewis Nelson Lile, Sr. During their 49 years of marriage, Peggy and Lewis had four children together. As a fulltime mother while also working in the home to help support her family, Peggy enjoyed every minute with her children. In addition, Peggy was blessed with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also received an Associate Degree from Tarrant County College. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Florence Davis; her husband, Lewis Nelson Lile, Sr.; her oldest son, Lewis Nelson Lile, Jr. and her granddaughter, Sarah Marie Moreland. She is survived by her three children, Mickie Moreland and her husband, Norman; Stephen Lile and his wife, Jennifer; Sandra Hartnitt and her husband, Van; grandchildren, Nathan Moreland and his fianc Jacqueline Perez; Kimberly Dowty and her husband, Patrick; Wade Lile and his significant other, Missy Holbrooks; Jacob Lile and his wife, Brianna; Joshua Lile and Anna Purselley; great-grandchildren, Norman Lee Moreland and his wife, Ryleigh; Cash Lile, Ariel Wilson and Spencer Moreland and Peggy's brother, John B. Davis and his wife, Cheryl.
