Philip Walter Talbert, 57, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 17, 2018, in Fort Worth. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Noon Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: Noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to commence at 6 p.m. Philip was born June 12, 1960, in Schenectady, N.Y. He graduated from the University of North Texas, and had worked for Lockheed Martin/General Dynamics for 34 years. He was a kind and gentle soul. Phil was a loving husband, father, and brother. He was a devout Catholic. He was the current Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus for Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where he served devoutly to his group for 15 years of service. Phil was also a troop Leader for Boy Scouts, Troop 351. Philip was a devoted husband to his wife, Kimberly ,of nearly 20 years; they would have celebrated their anniversary on May 30. He was also a loving father to his sons, Andrew and Jason. Philip is survived by his wife, Kimberly Ann Talbert; sons, Andrew Walter Talbert and Jason Craig Talbert; father, Walter Philip Talbert; siblings, Deborah Rought and her husband, David, Matthew Talbert and wife, Kim, Greg Talbert and wife, Mary; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Rought, Jessica Rought, Miranda Altman and husband, Brian, Kristy Talbert and husband, Marcus, Dustin, Jefferey, Whitney, Andy; great-nieces and nephew, Ruth and George, Nolan and Landry.
