Ralph Vernon Brown, 88, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at home. Service: 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of White Settlement. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials: Tarrant Area Food Bank, 2600 Cullen St., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Will Rogers said, "I never met a man I didnt like," but Ralph Vernon Brown took it a step further. Ralph never met a man, woman, child, dog, flower, or car he didnt like. Born March 31, 1927, in the rural town of Meridian to Ruth Esther Brown and Alfred Lawrence Brown, Ralph had two brothers and five sisters. Ralph served in the Army and was part of the military police during the Nuremberg Trials. His life changed forever in 1951 when he married the love of his life, Wynona. They were married for 65 blissful years before her death in May of this year. Ralph lived a life that could best be described as "selfless." Many people have been led to Christ by this simple man who let Christs love shine through him. Ralph will be missed for many things, silly jokes, a lush landscape, a ready smile, and always a servants heart. Ralph was also preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ruth Erickson Brown; brothers, Janes Brown and Aaron Brown; and sisters, Helen Truner, Rachel Neal and Mildred Main. Ralph is survived by: His daughter, Becky Parham; grandchildren, Tara James and husband, Mark, and Rhett Parham; great-grandchildren, Sailer, Sable and Lincoln Janes; sisters, Mary Temple and Vera Scott; and a large extended family.
