Randy Wester (1983-2024) was a devoted, compassionate, and loving man who always put his family first.

Born in Fort Worth in 1983, Randy grew up surrounded by love and support from his parents, Jerry and Stacy Wester, and his siblings, Misty, Steven, and Wendy. A hardworking student, he earned the Ann Brannon Award in English Language Arts and graduated from Southwest High School in 2001.

In 2011, Randy's life took a beautiful turn when he met Jessica Barnett at a friendly gathering. With a little help from his brother Steven, the two quickly connected, and Randy soon introduced her to his children, Andrew and Joshua. From that moment, they became inseparable. In 2013, Randy and Jessica were married in the presence of family and friends, choosing to raise their family in Fort Worth with the unwavering support of their loved ones.

Randy's summers were filled with joy during family fishing trips, where he cherished deep conversations with his Grandma, Dad, and brother, Steven. He loved sharing laughter with Stacy and Jessie, and playing with Andrew, Joshua, and his nieces and nephews—all while enjoying the peacefulness of the lake. Family and fishing were Randy's passions, and his happiest moments were spent with his boys. As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing that Randy has simply gone fishing at a great lake, where we will all join him one day.

Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Mary Wester.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Barnett; his children, Andrew Lee and Joshua Thomas; his parents, Jerry and Stacy Wester; his siblings, Misty Lewis, Steven Wester, Wendy Rogers; and his half-siblings, Amber Galloway and Daniel Norman.
