Raye was the oldest of twins born to Ray and Mona Holcomb in Munday, Texas, August 31, 1941
She and her sister, Kaye and younger brother, James grew up with the love of community and strong faith that small town Texas creates.
Raye married Billy Morris June of 1965 and they built a loving life in Fort Worth, Texas where she resided, until shortly after his death in 2015. As a couple they had many adventures traveling the world and exploring the states.
As their nieces and their children can attest, they always enjoyed treating everyone to the sights (and food) of Fort Worth/ Dallas; from antique malls and museums to Six Flags and all the rides. Raye gave back to the community building a strong relationship with her church, Metropolitan Baptist, as well as delivering meals for Meals on Wheels program and driving friends to appointments. Her smile and adventurous spirit will be missed greatly.
Raye was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean "Bill" Morris, her twin sister, Kaye McIntosh, and brother, James Holcomb.
She is survived by her niece, Michelle Garcia and her husband, Johnny and their daughters, Amanda and Breigh-Anna and their sons, Brandon and Jordan; niece, Cheryl Ramirez and her husband, Mark and their son, Mark Jr.; niece, Penny Bolin and her husband, David and their sons, Brian and Hunter, and their daughter Ashlie; niece, Leslie Colantuono and her husband, Ralph and their sons, Salvatore and Anthony; and her sister-in law, Anita Holcomb.
