Becky Glaze, 68, loving Mother, "Gramma," and lifelong resident of Azle, Texas, won her unexpected battle with cancer on December 14, 2023 when she went Home to be with her Lord and Savior.

Services: 2:00 pm, Monday, December 18, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Azle located at 1017 Boyd Road, Azle, TX 76020.

Family visitation will be held at 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Committal: Bethel Cemetery in Decatur, TX where she will be laid to rest next to her infant daughter.

In lieu of flowers, Becky requested that balloons be a part of her Celebration.

Becky was born March 19, 1955 in Decatur, Wise County, Texas, to Emmit Wayne Dickey, Sr. and Jimmie Sue Howard Dickey. As a young girl, she lived in Justin, TX before her parents relocated to Azle, TX when she was in the fifth grade. Adjusting to life in Azle was not easy for her, but as she grew older, this new place became her home. As a teenager, she met Dickie Glaze and they married in 1970 at Ash Creek Baptist church where they were members for many years. Although they divorced after 16 years of marriage and four children, they remained lifelong friends until his death in 2018.

As a young mother, Becky's aunt and mentor, Judy, taught her the ins and outs of designing flowers and the floral industry, which led Becky to becoming one of the best and most talented Floral Designers in the area. Becky owned and operated her own flower shop, Celebrations by Becky, in Springtown, TX, for several years. At the time of her death, she was employed at, and was the face of, Azle Florist where she worked for thirteen years.

Most everyone would agree that Becky is best described as selfless. She was the most selfless and caring person that loved and lived life to the fullest. She absolutely loved the beach, especially Pensacola Beach and Port Aransas Beach, and the fun, stress-free atmosphere that it brought. Some of her best times and memories were made at the beach. But what brought Becky the most joy was family. Becky lived for and loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and centered her life around them.

She was preceded in death by infant daughter, Tracie Sue Glaze; great-grandson, Tycen Wayne Scruggs; parents, Wayne and Sue Dickey; and brother, Emmit Wayne "Bubba" Dickey, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are son, Brent Glaze; daughters, Amy Suddeath and husband, Larry; and Lori Scroggins and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Kylea Styne, Ashley Glaze and wife, Courtney; Trevor Scroggins and wife, Santana; Taylor Scroggins, Bryce Scroggins, Brook Scroggins, Kirstin Scroggins, and Chevy Scroggins, Josh Suddeath, Jacob Suddeath and Kayla Suddeath; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Emerie, Elijah, Eastyn, Lorin, Katie "JoJo", Kenzie, Waylon, Whitley, Landyn, Remington, Jayden, Jessie, Harley, and Mia; brother, David Dickey; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families, and a host of wonderful friends.

Pallbearers include Shane Dickey, David Blum, Zachary Blum, Clint Brashier, Robert Scruggs and Jake Suddeath.
