Rev. Odell Mayo, 66, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 12, at Precious Faith Temple. Interment will be in Annetta Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Mayo was born December 27, 1949 in Delhi, Louisiana to Alvie C. and Alice Mayo. He was a longtime member of Precious Faith Temple and a member of River Oaks Masonic Lodge #1311 where he was twice Past Master and a Golden Trowel recipient. He was also a Royal Ranger Leader for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Roy Mayo. Rev. Mayo is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane; sons, Corey Mayo and Brandon Mayo and wife, Cheryce; granddaughter, Marlie Mayo; sister, Linda Bernard and husband, Gary; sister-in-law, Rhonda Mayo.
