Fort Worth, Texas – Rex Carl Williams passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Fort Worth, at the age of 50.

Rex was born September 18, 1974, in Okinawa, Japan, to Yoko and Archie Carl Williams. He and his family moved to Fort Worth in 1977.

During Rex's five decades, he developed a love for driving and working on cars and motorcycles. He liked to share his knowledge about car trivia with others. Rex also enjoyed drawing with ink and pencil.

He held a variety of jobs, ranging from driving an 18-wheeler truck to working as a roughneck in the Texas oilfields. In his spare time, he covered most of his body – at least 75 percent of it – with a variety of tattoos. Each tattoo had a special meaning to him.

The youngest child, Rex was preceded in death by his father, Archie. He is survived by his mother, Yoko; children, London Johnson and husband Christian Johnson, Anthony Williams, Roland Williams, and Ashlynn Williams; siblings Donna Williams, Chris Williams and wife, Anna Tinsley Williams; Alan Williams and Becky Robertson, Kathy Burch and husband Danny Burch; grandchildren Bryson and Devlin; aunt and uncle Katsuko and Ryosei Onaga; several nephews and nieces; cousins; girlfriend Jacqueline Westerman; and his beloved dog, Dama.

Rex will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
