Richard Allen Querner, age 78, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025, Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Richard was born July 18, 1947, in Vernon, Texas, a son of the late Charles and Joan (McClung) Querner.

He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State College where he played football and received a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degree. After college, he pursued a career in teaching and coaching. Richard enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Querner and brother, John Querner.

Richard is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Querner; daughter, Gina Segovia and husband, Jorge; son, Travis Querner; brother, David Querner and wife, Donna; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Acton and husband, Jared, Matthew Segovia and wife, Marytere, and Lela Querner; five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Elena, Evan, Rosalyn and Aaron; his niece, Lanese Barnett and husband, Brady; and two great-nieces, Talia and Jolie.
