Richard "Ricky" C. Morgan Jr, 52, passed away on December 9, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones in his Fort Worth residency.

Service: 10:30 am, Friday, December 15, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

He was born on July 31, 1971 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the son of Richard Morgan and the late Karen Donahew. He graduated from Lake Worth High School. After high school, Ricky attended Ranger College and McMurry University, where he continued his passion for football and played for two years. His time in college was cut short after returning home to care for his beloved mother.

After college, Ricky worked as a service manager at various auto groups in the DFW area. He continued his love for football by volunteering to coach his son, Caleb and teammates throughout his childhood. He will be remembered for his style of mentoring, coaching, and being there when someone needed him.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Donahew.

Richard is survived by son, Caleb Morgan and wife Evelyn; beloved granddaughter, Adalynn "Birdie", and grandson, Richard Cooper, who is due later this month; his father, Richard Morgan and wife Maria; brother Chris Morgan and wife, Angela; sister, Michelle Morgan and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who he loved dearly.

Ricky's presence was a blessing to everyone around him. His unconditional love and affection touched the lives of all who surrounded him. He was a devoted father and grandfather. His memory and legacy will live on.
