Alan was born November 3, 1946, in San Angelo, Texas, to Leonard Robert Jones and Nevulyn Mabel Frances (Allen) Jones. He married Charlotte C. Young on December 14, 1989, in Springtown, Texas. He was a retired teacher and coach. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Jones; son, David Jones; daughters, Tina Brawner and husband, Randy and Judy Ray and husband, Mike; sisters, Priscilla Basham and Vicki Devine; brothers, Ferrell Jones and wife, Elaine and Billy White and wife, Jeanie; and four grandchildren.
