Bob was a man with many titles to his name, Aerospace Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Teacher, Business owner, Entrepreneur, Mentor, Veteran, volunteer and more. However, his most beloved titles were that of Child of God, husband, Father, grandfather and great- grandfather. He was a man who deeply loved the Lord and his family, and it showed through the unconditional love and sacrifice throughout his life.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2026, Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, 420 South Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131.

Bob was a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma; there were very few games he missed throughout his 95 years. He especially loved watching the Red River rivalry each October, it was one of the only days each year that you knew where you could find Bob, in front of the television watching that game!

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army, serving through the Korean War. He was awarded several medals throughout his military career.

It is almost impossible to put into such few words and paint the picture of who our dad was. He was the most selfless man we have ever known. He spent a lifetime volunteering and helping people in need. He ran his Air Condition repair business on the side but he never really profited from it because it was so hard for him to charge anyone if they needed help and he could help them. This reached far beyond individual homes and into churches and organizations throughout Dallas and East Texas, many, many churches were blessed because he heard they had a need and he filled it. He continued this selfless service until he was 92 years old and just couldn't physically keep up any longer.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Thompson.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cassie Thompson of North Richland Hills, Robin Bryant and husband, Michael of Pryor Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Crystal Kelly and husband, David, Michael Bryant, Patrick Davis and wife, Jessi, Lisa Bryant, Daniel Jones and wife, Erin; seven great-grandchildren, Kadin Davis Jace Davis, Leo Kelly, Skylie Davis, Lydia Kelly, Dillon Bryant and Jack Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His selfless legacy will forever live on in our hearts.
