West Center, 1111 Summit Ave., 4th Floor, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, 817-870-9995. Born to Sheri Ruth Driscoll and Walter Penneman in Los Angeles, California, he was raised most of his young life in Phoenix, Arizona, and then San Diego, California, with three other siblings. He was a World War II veteran of the Army and served in communications in the Philippines. He later worked at Convair in San Diego, California, where he met his wife Janice and endured a loving marriage of 62 years with five children, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His expertise in structural engineering was needed at General Dynamics in Fort Worth, which meant a job transfer from San Diego in order to support his growing family. His accomplishments included structural designs, especially on the wing sections, for the F-111, F-16, and F-22 fighter planes. He lived 50 years in the Handley/Meadowbrook area with his wife after moving the family from California. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather who we shall truly miss. "Rest in peace till Jesus comes! Bye my honey bunches. Bye for now Daddy, till we see you again in the Kingdom of God." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 The family would like to thank his nurses, Jackie, Carla and August, for your compassion and care.
