Robert John Perkins, 65, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and loving grandfather. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday December 29, 2015 in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. Honorary pallbearers: Ray Benthall, Gary Wilson, Marty Daniels and JR McCormack. Bob raised his three children in Ranger and participated in their various activities and sports. He truly enjoyed Bible teaching at the Church of Christ in Ranger. Bob was a 25-year employee of EBAA Iron, Inc. He considered EBAA his second family. Bob enjoyed living life to its fullest and never met a stranger. He welcomed each day as it were his last, and each morning he gave thanks to his Lord for the journey that lies ahead of him. Bob will surely be missed, and life will not quite be the same without him. He was preceded by death his baby son, Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Perkins; children, Marshall Perkins and wife, Barbara, of Pasiano di Pordenone, Italy, Matthew Perkins and wife, Trisha, of Miami, Oklahoma, and Michelle Hall and husband, Justin, of Belton; stepson, Randy Hess of Haslet; along with loving grandchildren, Bryson, Brennae, Jimmy, John and Michele; sisters, Delores Walker and husband, Bill, of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and Debbie Wilson and husband, Gary, of Corpus Christi.
