Roger Allen Baisden was born on November 13, 1956, in Oklahoma City. Roger, a believer in Jesus Christ, our lord and savior, passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on May 17, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas, at the age of 68.

Roger served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft egress mechanic with assignments in New Mexico, Japan, Philippines, and Texas. Following a medical separation from the armed forces he leveraged his skills to start an at-home auto shop. After which, he proudly continued his civil service with a lifelong career as an Auto Technician for the United States Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannine Baisden and survived by his three siblings: Clint Baisden, Bob Baisden, and David Baisden, his four children: Melissa Larabee, Trevor Baisden, Luke Baisden, and Nicholas Baisden, and five grandchildren: Lyla Baisden, Braxton Baisden, Autumn Baisden, Natalie Baisden, and Michael Baisden, all of whom he loved dearly.

Roger found tranquility in caring for his dogs, goats, and other other animals at his homestead, as they reminded him of his childhood on the farm. He lived by the values of hard work, forgiveness, fairness, and devotion to family.

A service is being planned at Crossing Fellowship in Azle, Texas. Further details will be shared when available.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
