Obituary

Roger Corbin was born in 1961 and went to be with Jesus in heaven in 2025.

Celebration of His Life: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at The Church at Azle,

1801 S. Stewart Stree, Azle, Texas 76020, 817-444-9973.

Roger graduated from Boswell High School, then furthered his education by studying music at various Texas colleges. He then pursued music by performing in show bands and traveling the world. Music was his calling by God and through the Holy Spirit he wrote many songs of the love Jesus has for us. He was blessed to be able to play any instrument he picked up and any song heard by ear. He worked as a sound engineer, worship pastor and was the Exxon Tiger for a number of years. He was an artist, songwriter, & home builder. He loved running and is probably beating his best time right now in heaven.

He was gentle yet strong. He loved to laugh and tell stories. He treated everyone as if they were the most important person in the world.

His heart each day was to share Jesus with anyone he met. In his travels throughout the world, he spoke with different people every day and intentionally asked how they were, listened with compassion, and would pray for them. He loved people because he knew Jesus loved people through him.

He would ask you if you knew that Jesus adores you and died for all the wrongs you've ever done. That Jesus forgives you and can make your life whole. If you've never done so, ask Jesus to come into your life, right now. HE will hold you and never let you go. This is what Roger would say to you.

Roger was born to Lee Corbin and Martha Corbin and was preceded in death by his dad, Lee Corbin.

He was survived by his mother, Martha Corbin; wife, Jennifer Corbin; brothers, Burt Corbin, Rick Corbin, & Ken Corbin; and many nephews, nieces, in-laws, and cousins.

We would love for you to come and CELEBRATE Roger with us. He was just a man, that loved God with all his heart.
