Rosa Lee "Rose" Euler Dickens passed away Friday, June 3, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue in Lake Worth. Interment will be at 4 p.m. in Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Munday, Texas.
Rose was born in Wathena, Kansas on February 16, 1928. Several years after graduating from Wathena High School, she married James O. Dickens on May 27,1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Moving from Kansas three weeks after their first childs birth in August, 1951, to live permanently in Texas, the couple completed their family with four more children. Throughout her eighty-eight years, she was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and beloved grandparent and great-grandparent.
She was a longtime Cafeteria Manager for Boswell High School in Saginaw; quilting and cooking were her two favorite activities as well as family picnics, holiday get-togethers, and reunions.
She was preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Vera May Euler, her brother Bob Euler, her husband James Dickens, son-in-law Richard Robinson, and great-grandson William Jackson Pate.
She is survived by her brothers, Bill Euler and Jerry Euler; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Jack Thornton; daughter and son-in-law, Nelda and Bob Schmidt; daughter, Diana Robinson; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jack Curlee; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jack Precella; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Monya Dickens; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other loved family members and friends.
