Royce Lynn Lamb passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. Celebration of Life: 1 p.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel and she will be laid to rest at 3 p.m. Saturday in Ralls Cemetery beside her daughter, Carolyn. The family requests that anyone attending the service for Lynn wear a mask for the health and safety of everyone in attendance. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in Lynn's memory. Lynn was born on September 28, 1942 to Alice and Elmer Edwards, the third of four children. After growing up in Lubbock, Lynn spent most of her adult years in Blue Mound, working for 22 years at the Northwest Campus of Tarrant County College. Lynn was a devoted mother and grandmother, spending much of her free time attending the games and events of her grandchildren. She loved to travel and attend country and western concerts. She was generous with her time and received accolades for her many hours spent volunteering with the Gilliland Elementary PTA. Lynn was endlessly benevolent, doing all she could to ensure that children or families would not go without. Strong-willed and independent, Lynn was fiercely loyal and protective of all whom she loved. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Carolyn. She is survived by two children, Taren Fuller and her husband and Ty Lamb and his wife; four grandchildren; and many extended relatives, and dear friends.
