Ruby Bogle Narmore Allcon, 91, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Worth Baptist Church, 4447 Hodgkins Road. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Ruby was born on her family farm in Abner, Okla., on Feb. 28, 1921, where she learned a lesson about hard work and sacrifice that served her well as she grew up to become a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ruby was a longtime resident of Lake Worth and was married to Hugh A. Allcon Sr. until his death in 2006. She was a dedicated Christian and served in the childrens nursery for over 30 years at Lake Worth Baptist Church. She will be missed, but not forgotten, and leaves us with the pleasure and joy of knowing we will see her again someday. Join us in a celebration of her life here on earth and the transition into her new life. Survivors include her children, Clint Dewayne Narmore and wife, Wanda, and Tana Narmore Wharton and husband, Glen; stepchildren, Hugh A. Allcon Jr. and wife, Sue, and Linda Oberly; and nine beautiful grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
