Russell was born on February 15, 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert R Roark and Esther Fern Roark. Russell was raised in Saginaw Texas with his two sisters, brother and several cousins and friends. As a child, Russell spent most of his time outside visiting and playing with family and friends. He never met a stranger. Russell loved swimming, fishing and playing the drums.

His greatest accomplishment was the birth of his two sons Nolan and Noble. His greatest love was his wife, Monica. They raised their boys in Saginaw and then moved to Springtown about 8 years ago. Russell was a gentleman for anyone who knew him. His love for his family was the most important thing he cherished in life.

Russell had his Master License in Heating and Air Conditioning and worked for many large companies within the Fort Worth Metroplex over the past years. Russell was also a member of the Springtown Eureka Masonic Lodge #371 in District #89. He started Masonry at Tarrant Lodge #942 in 1999.

Russell will be missed by so many especially those who loved him unconditionally. Monica, Nolan and Noble new him best and he will live on in his boys. His lifelong friends Big Ed, Big Mike, Barry and Frankie, who stuck with him throughout his life. Loyd and Tommy who were like brothers instead of cousins. His sisters who adored their little brother and only wanted the best for him. And his momma, who will forever love her baby boy.

Russell was preceded in death by his father Bobby Roark; Stepmom, Geneva "Nene" Maroney; and Grandmother, Corine "Nanaw" Ritchey.

Russell is survived by his wife Monica Joy Roark; two sons, Nolan Roark and Noble Roark; his mother, Esther Fern Roark; his sisters, Regina Wagoner and husband, Brian; Robin Smith and husband, Gary; his brother, Robert Roark and wife, Deedee; one niece, seven nephews, five great-nieces, two great-nephews and many cousins and friends.
