Ruthie Addington, 84, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, at Azle Christian Church. Interment will be in Azleland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Azle Christian Church Memorial Fund, 117 Church St., Azle, Texas 76020. Mrs. Addington was born October 31, 1931, in Fort Worth and was a lifelong area resident. All will miss her generous heart and unconditional love. No one had a deeper love for her family and her pets. "When Jesus said come join me, she did." The family is eternally grateful to VITAS Healthcare for helping her to stay in her home. They are saints. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, George R. Addington; daughter, Debbie Middleton; son, Danny Peters; brother, Jerry Moore and wife, Betsy; granddaughter, Danielle Pinneda; and great-granddaughter, Rose Marie.
