Sandra Lei Jackson (Willingham) (1948–2023)

In Loving Memory of Sandra Lei Jackson, 75, of Quitman, TX. It is with deep sorrow that we announce Sandy passed away in Fort Worth, TX on November 10, 2023.

Sandy was born in Dallas, TX in 1948 to James M. Willingham and Lois G. Maberry. Sandy loved to play music and was an accomplished piano player. Through the many years, she loved her Shih Tzu dogs. Sandy attended Mesquite High School before attending Richland College to study accounting. She worked many years for a property management company and later worked as a compliance manager for a bank before retiring. In retirement, she loved her family at First United Methodist Church in Quitman, TX and enjoyed volunteering.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lois Willingham of Quitman, TX, and daughter Kathe Pickel of Quitman, TX. Sandy is survived by her son Marcus Pickel and wife Carrie Pickel; grandchildren Reece and Aubren Pickel and Taylor Holland. She also leaves behind many friends she loved dearly.

Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on December 2, 2023, at First United Methodist Church, Quitman, TX. Address is: 406 Lane St, Quitman, TX 75783. In lieu of flowers, donations to First United Methodist Church would be greatly appreciated.

Sandy Jackson will be greatly missed by many. May her soul rest in eternal peace and that her memory will comfort all those that loved her.
