Shariece Annette Smith, 55, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 1, 2018. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Springtown Cemetery. Shariece was born February 4, 1962 in New Boston, Texas, to Charlie and Julia Smith. She was a longtime area resident and a member of the Lakeside Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Mendoza; children, Priscilla Griscom and Jeff Kardaras; her mother, Julia Smith; brothers, Charles Smith and David Smith; sisters, Barbara Applewhite, Karon Gann, and Valerie Medford; and five grandchildren.
