Sharon Ann Parmley Beane Martin, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother "Memaw", great-grand mother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many and every stranger, followed after her life love, Bill Martin, to her Jesus and Heavenly home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Sharon was born in her family's log cabin in Jay, Oklahoma, (the one her father and grandfather built together) and near Miami, Oklahoma on Sunday, July 23, 1939. She was the third born of four children, to Rex and Ruth Parmley, and their only daughter. While she dearly loved and respected both of her parents, she especially cherished the bond that she had with her father. She was daddy's girl.

Memaw "Sharon" often shared that she had loved Jesus her entire life and didn't remember ever doubting that there is God in Heaven. She cherished the times that she heard her grandmother "Ophalia Ann" pray, for all of the family, by name, every day and would share that this was the grandmother that taught her most about God, Jesus, Heaven and how to pray. She first discovered this about her grandmother, when after all were (supposedly) asleep, Sharon would hear whispering on her grandparents' screened in porch and be curious about what was going on, so she would, as quietly as possible, crawl near that porch so she could hear better and see, and then realized that it was her grandmother praying, naming each family member and her concern for them in whatever that person was dealing with in life, with her Bible in her hands. Sharon was sure that there were some things she heard that she probably wasn't supposed to, because some things just weren't shared with children, back in those days. She absolutely loved nature and being outdoors and reminisced much about her childhood and time spent at the creek.

While she served in the workforce in many different capacities in her career days, she was especially proud of the entrustment that was given her in her role as the bookkeeper for various and most of the organizations of which she was affiliated. In fact, she was still the bookkeeper in the family business up until her passing, even though she needed a little help in these past two years. She was always very accurate and would never finish balancing her books, unless it was to the penny. She also served in the church and in the Mercy Heart Ministry, as a ladies' Bible teacher for several years, and really enjoyed singing high soprano in her church's choirs. Her favorite past times were reading her Bible, listening to Gospel music, being in nature, watching nature out the window, driving in the country

and having Dairy Queen cherry milkshakes. She did so love her ice cream and of course, her family.

Like all mankind, Memaw was not perfect. As one of her precious family members shared "She was perfectly imperfect", [as are we all]. Nevertheless, she was a beautiful, caring, kind lady and is and was so dearly loved by her family, even when she was being a bit sassy, feisty and strong headed.

Sharon "Memaw", is survived by her daughter, Deborah Beane Gilham and husband, Scott and their son, Justin; her son, Marshal Beane, his son, Ryan Beane and wife, Chelsea and their children Marshal Ryan, Coy, Tyson, Charlie, Alex, Ezalie and nephew, Kye; and sister-in-law (love), Lynette Parmley (wife of Sharon's brother, Joe); also, extended family: Claudia Parmley, Judy & Steve Morgan, Heidi Parmley, Jerry & Pam Parmley, Kelly & Todd Williams,

Ross & Heather Parmley.

After Sharon's marriage to Bill Martin in 1987, she inherited her other children, the biological Martin children (God love her), of which she received with open arms. These include children: David Martin Sr (Sherry), Cheryl Martin Tucker (Gary), Cindy Martin Hearne (Brad), Robert (Bobby) Martin (Carrie); Martin grandchildren in birth order: Michael Tucker (Susan), Tiffany Fox, David Martin Jr (Heather), Christie Tucker (Michael Kuznik), Marlo Martin Coffman (Justin), Matt Martin (Stacy), Tanner Hearne (Meagan), Taylor Hearne (Amy), Alexandra Martin Sandifer (Michael); great-grandchildren in birth order: Cheyenne (Cody), Autumn (Aidan), Eryka, Race, Will, Ava Grace, Savannah, Joe, Luke, Jeff, Jacy, Dean, Oliver, Levi, Luna, Jack, Jesse Rex, Layanna, Briar, and Cassian; great-great grandson: Waylon Finn Richards. (The multiplied greatly since 1987 and, they were all her very own); She is also survived by Bill's extended family: sister, Alice; brother, John (Cynthia); many, many nieces, nephews, extended family and so very many special friends.

Gone before her were Husband and love of her life: Bill Martin; her Parents: Rex & Ruth Parmley; Brothers: Kenneth (Marie), Price (Holly) and Joe; Grandparents: Father's Parents—James Cray Parmley (Della Tolbert), Mother's Parents- Dan Price (Ophelia Ann).
