Shirley Trevino, 69, went home to her Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Internment will be in Roberts Branch Cemetery in Jack County. Visitation will be from noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 28, at the funeral home. Shirley never met a stranger and made an impression on every life she touched. She loved working in the yard, a cold glass of sweet tea, the Rolling Stones, and her Lord Jesus. She instilled a love of reading and the virtue of hard work in her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandchildren, Robby Trevino and Alisha Trevino; brother, Alton Self; and sister, Etta Plumlee. Shirley is survived by her husband, Bobby Trevino; sons, Robby Trevino and Matthew Whatley; daughter, Jennifer Trevino; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
