It is with deep regret, we announce the passing of Sophie V. Harbert (nee Mentis), aged 95, who passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

Service: 10:00 am, Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Chapel of the Holy Resurrection at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21207.

Sophie was born June 10, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, she lived in Fort. Worth, Texas for the past 40 years. She was the beloved spouse of Harry J. Harbert, who passed in 2013.

She enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid ballroom dancer, golfer, and bowler. She also loved to cook and swim in her pool. Her caretakers all said she was very funny in her last days.

Sophie is survived by her two daughters, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
