Stacy Lynn Clark, born on September 9, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas to Larry Martin and Donna June Clark.
Stacy proudly served the Fort Worth community as a captain in the Fort Worth Fire Department, retiring after 32 years of dedicated service. Known for his determination and passion, Stacy had a wide array of hobbies that he pursued with vigor and skill. He was an accomplished guitarist and singer, an avid hunter and fisherman, a talented baseball player, a dedicated gardener, and even raised bunnies. Yet, of all his pursuits, spending time with his grandchildren brought him the greatest joy and fulfillment.
Stacy had a steadfast nature and a deep commitment to his beliefs. He approached life with a strong sense of determination and purpose, qualities that shaped his relationships and the way he pursued his passions. His strength of character, combined with his caring and generous spirit, made him someone people could always count on for support, guidance, and a thoughtful conversation. He believed in living authentically, always true to himself and those he loved.
A strong Christian, Stacy served his church with deep faith, first as an elder and later as a welcoming greeter, always ready with a warm smile and a kind word.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Linda Clark; daughters, Briana Hipps and Cara McJilton, and sons-in-law, Greg and Rush. Stacy was a devoted and proud grandfather to Tristan, Isabelle, Easton, Lochlan, and Rory, who were the true joy of his life; Also surviving him are, his mother, Donna Clark; brother, Brett Clark; aunt Diana; cousin, Brian, Troy & Keri; and nieces and nephews, Blake, Jack, Hannah, Mattie, Josh, Jordan, Mallorie, and Racheal.
Stacy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, service, and the devotion he had for his family—especially his grandchildren—will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
