Stanley Erwin Reeh, USAF Msgt. Ret., age 76 of Ft. Worth Texas passed peacefully from this life on Saturday afternoon September 16, 2023. He was born August 5,1947 in Harper, Texas.

Service: 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76135.

Visitation: 10:00 to 11:00 am, Tuesday, Prior to service.

Committal: 11:00 am, Friday, September 29, 2023 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Originally from Gillespie County, Texas he was the youngest child and son of Cora Dora (Klein) and Erwin Arthur Reeh.

Stanley grew up in central Texas and enjoyed hunting and fishing. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served honorably for 24 years. He was on active-duty status and served overseas several years during the latter part of the Vietnam war.

Soon after he began his enlistment he met and married the love of his life Karen Marie Jones, (Reeh) his widow of 53 years who survives him. Their union produced 5 children whom Stanley is survived by: Melissa D. Reeh-Weakley, Joshua V. Reeh, Katrina M. Reeh-Ramirez and husband, Miguel Ramirez, Scott A. Reeh and wife, Kelley Reeh, Stuart G. Reeh and wife, Cassie Reeh.

Stanley served in the Fire protection branch of the USAF, finishing his career in the military with the 47th Civil Engineering squadron at Laughlin Air Force Base near Del Rio, Texas. Even after his retirement from the US military Stanley continued to serve his community as the Animal control Director for the City of Del Rio for a decade. After which he relocated to Fort Worth to be near extended family.

During his latter years Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He was an excellent grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Clinton Reeh; his sister, Dorothy Mauldin and husband, Allen Mauldin; and his son-in-law, David J. Weakley.

Stanley is also survived by his ten grandchildren: Miguel Ramirez, Kora Ramirez, Leah Ramirez, Joseph Ramirez, Jamison Weakley, Charlotte Reeh, Lucy Reeh, Henry Reeh, Rhemi Reeh, and Logan Reeh. Stanley is also survived by his great-grandchild Maddox Ramirez-Campos.
