Stanley Rowland died in his home in Fort Worth on Sunday, July 21. Service will be at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, July 25, Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening 6:00-8:00 PM, Biggers Funeral Home. Stanley was born in Indianola, MS and moved to Texas in the 1970's, where he built a life full of friends, family, and racing. He worked hard to play hard - with racing as his passion. Stanley loved to be surrounded by friends, always making room on the race trailer or in the pits for anyone wanting to join in the fun. He is preceded in death by Cory Steyer and his siblings - John Rowland, Otis Rowland, Julia Brown, Hugh David Rowland, Robert Rowland, Jewel Douglas Rowland, and Robbie Nell. He is survived by his longtime love, Gayle Steyer, his daughters Audrey Rowland and Emily Kinsella, his son-in-laws Dan Shaw and Rob Kinsella, his grandchildren Cooper, Vivian, Witt, Madison and Brady, and his siblings Alvis Rowland, William Rowland, Grady Rowland, Kenneth Rowland, Linda Smart, Mary Jo Hearn and Betty Ann Pruett. He will be missed by countless friends.
