Starling Lewis Brock I passed away peacefully Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age of 86.

He was born December 5, 1939, and lived a life marked by service, devotion and love for his family.

Interment: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas.

Star proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, demonstrating dedication and honor throughout his military career. After his service, he continued to live with the same commitment that defined his time in uniform.

In 1960, he married the love of his life, Eva Mae "Eve" Stepp, and together they shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. He was a devoted husband and father to his two sons. His greatest joy was spending time with those he loved most.

An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and adventure in nature. He cherished hunting and fishing and had a special love for touring through the Black Hills of South Dakota on motorcycles. These passions brought him countless memories and moments of joy throughout his life.

In 2001, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, trusting his eternal salvation to the Lord God.

Star was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae "Eve".

He is survived by his sons, Starling II and wife, Melissa and Keith and wife, Lorraine; grandchildren, Starling III and wife, Madison, Heather and husband, Joshua, Garin and wife, Jessica, Caleb and wife, Emma, Corby and wife, Kaila, and Grayson; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Kaley, Hannah, Login, Hadley, Riven, Evelyn, Elias, and Starling Brock IV; brothers and sisters; and family of the heart, James and Maryann Kea.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
