Susan Joy Holmes, 73, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at her home while surrounded by those who loved her. Susan was born November 17, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Robert Jackson and Anita (Akin) Holmes. She spent most of her life working as a Respiratory Therapist. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: Companion, Robin Mills; sisters and brother , Robin Stout and husband, Eddie, Mindy Fernandez and husband, Daniel, Mac Holmes and Pam Elliott; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Stout, Sandy Stout, Ellie Holmes, Bobby Holmes, Mathew Fernandez and Anita Fernandez; four great-great nephews; adopted mother, Wilma Mills; adopted sister, Pam York and husband, Tony; adopted nieces, Melissa Webber and Julie Witt; adopted great-nieces and nephews, Alexis Morris, Wittney Bradley, Cheyne Witt, Kevin York and Tyler York; and eight adopted great-great nieces and nephews.
